The NX-NB system consists of two antennas which are mounted at the front of the crush/chute and are designed to read animals when the animals head is in the held position. The antennas have been designed specifically to handle the stress and strain encountered in crush/chute reading conditions, ensuring a lasting solution for reading cattle EID tags. The NX-NB system includes a high-contrast colour touchscreen NX-M Databox. The system has the unique ability to create data templates that can be customised to suit specific requirements and has the ability to store up to 1 million tags. The databox gives the choice of Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, as well as options for USB and serial data connection, to suit a variety of on-farm needs.
